If you are coming from Hamburg / Lübeck:

Follow Autobahn A 1 to Autobahn A 20. Follow Autobahn A 20, exit Stralsund, then take B 96 towards Stralsund.

If you are coming from Berlin:

Follow Autobahn A 19, Autobahn intersection (Autobahnkreuz) Rostock-Kavelstorf, then take Autobahn A 20, exit Stralsund.
or
Follow Autobahn A 11 in the direction of Stettin until Autobahn triangle Uckermark, then follow Autobahn A 20 in the direction of Greifswald/Stralsund, then AS 24 direction Stralsund.

If you are coming from Stralsund:

Cross the new Ruegen Bridge in the direction of Ruegen/Sassnitz. Then take the B 96 in the direction of Bergen, then the B 196 in the direction of Goehren.
Alternatively, e.g., in case of traffic jams: you can follow the route from Altefaehr to Gustow via Garz, Putbus and to Lancken Granitz. Then take the B 196 in the direction of Goehren.

Alternative ferry route:

If you intend to take the Glewitz ferry, take the exit Grimmen Ost, then go in the direction of Bartmannshagen – Willerswalde – Reinkenhagen – Reinberg – Stahlbrode – Glewitz.
Take an alternative route you can reach Ruegen by ferry: There's a ferry every 20 min from Stahlbrode to Glewitz. From Glewitz follow the direction Goehren via Garz and Putbus.
